Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to improve systems and equipment reliability across assigned processes. You will reduce downtime, perform corrective and preventive maintenance, and support operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will document maintenance activities in SAP, interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, and collaborate with process owners to boost performance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent training in mechanical, electrical & control systems.
• 1–5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Experience with automated records systems such as SAP preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental requirements in duties.
• Develop and establish maintenance procedures, plans and spare parts lists.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on assigned processes.
• Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and data sheets.
• Document maintenance activities in SAP.
• Collaborate with process owners to improve performance and reliability.
• Train fellow technicians and share expertise.
• Investigate equipment issues using SPS root cause analysis.
• Suggest improvements to equipment and department practices.
• Troubleshoot with Responsible Engineers and Manufacturing staff.
