Job summary

Standex International in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and emergency maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure production efficiency and safety. The shift runs 7:00AM-3:30PM and requires hands-on technical skills.

You will service CNC tools, lathes, ovens, and other assets, read diagrams, troubleshoot, assist contractors, and support SQDC goals while traveling between facilities as needed. Strong teamwork and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• Basic understanding and interpretation of wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Reliable transportation and strong time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machine tools, spinning lathes, ovens, overhead cranes and various manufacturing equipment.
• Read and follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Assist outside contractors on overhaul and repair to machine tools and facility improvements.
• Maintain safety by following lockout tagout rules and company policies.
• Document actions and logs; support SQDC improvements and communicate needs across shifts.
