Job summary

Standex International in New Berlin, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and emergency maintenance on CNC machine tools, spinning lathes, ovens, overhead cranes and facility systems to keep production running safely and efficiently. Schedule: 7:00AM-3:30PM.

You will read diagrams and manuals, assist contractors, follow lockout/tagout procedures, maintain logs, and support SQDC goals while traveling between facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• Basic understanding of wiring diagrams, schematics, flow diagrams, etc.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Reliable transportation and strong time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with good problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machine tools, spinning lathes, ovens, overhead cranes and various manufacturing equipment.
• Read and follow diagrams, sketches, manuals and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Assist outside contractors on overhaul and repair work and facility improvements.
• Ensure operation of machinery by completing preventive maintenance on motors, hydraulics and production equipment.
• Maintain logs and documentation of actions and results; follow PCS where applicable.
