Job summary
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure proper operation of agency-owned equipment, appliances and electrical systems through preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs. The role includes responding to service calls in apartments and assisting with various projects.
You will perform plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC tasks, plus vacant unit rehabilitation and preparation for occupancy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Vocational or technical school studies in maintenance preferred.
- Three years experience in automotive repair, appliance repair, or electrical system installation/repair.
- Must have valid driver’s license and be insurable.
- Full-time use of personal vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Perform non-routine plumbing repairs (toilets, sewers, fixtures).
- Repair and overhaul faucets, valves, and related plumbing components.
- Repair cabinets, doors, drywall, tile and baseboard molding.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical fixtures and outlets.
- Maintain HVAC systems and diagnose related issues.
- Repair and prepare vacant units for rental occupancy.
