Qualifications

• Associate Degree or completion of a craft apprenticeship, along with 4-6 years of related experience.
• Advanced maintenance and electrical skills; can read schematics and diagnose PLC issues.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; proficient with hand and power tools and fabrication.
• Safety awareness with lock-out tag-out and industrial safety practices.
• Ability to work in a team and interface with contractors.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, climbing, and lifting 75 pounds.
• Vision requirements include close, distance and color vision.

Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Execute routine preventive maintenance tasks and promote compliance among production workers to minimize equipment downtime.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment, including electrical, mechanical, PLC, servo, hydraulic, pneumatic, ABB robots, paint delivery systems, and VFD Drives.
• Safety: Ensure zero safety-related issues by strictly adhering to safety protocols, lock-out tag-out procedures, and other industrial safety precautions.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot downtime causes and identify root causes on assembly and paint lines.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with process engineers and lead associates to develop line improvements that enhance efficiency.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to Maintenance Technician Level 1 and other team members.
• Record Keeping: Complete work orders, enter required paperwork into the computer system, and maintain attendance records.
