Job summary

Saft America, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to provide equipment and facility mechanical and electrical maintenance support across manufacturing operations.

The role ensures continuous operation of equipment to protect capital investments and to maintain quality outputs in scheduled quantities and times. The candidate should have formal Industrial Systems Technology training with PLC knowledge; robotic systems experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Formal training and certificate in Industrial Systems Technology, including Industrial Safety Procedures, AC/DC Wiring, PLC, Mechanics, Fluid Power and Pumps and Piping Systems.
• Knowledge of PLC programming is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, test and troubleshoot industrial mechanical and electrical equipment and associated controls on production and facility equipment.
• Must be able to be at work on time, follow company rules and procedures, follow directions from supervisor, interact constructively with co-workers, work overtime and weekends as required.
