Job summary

Great Dane LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems on production equipment. You’ll work under the Maintenance Supervisor, troubleshoot malfunctions, and ensure safe, efficient operation of metal fabricating tools and material handling systems.

This role requires reading schematics, using power tools, and performing preventative maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Aptitude to learn and retain new information.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, trouble shoots, and tests machines and equipment to determine root cause of malfunctions.
• Dismantles machines and equipment to gain access to problem area.
• Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.
• Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Starts machines and equipment to test operation following repair.
