Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Maintenance Assistant II to perform minor repairs and routine building and grounds upkeep. You will report to a Maintenance Supervisor, work on-site, and may lead a small team on assigned tasks.

The role requires a valid California driver’s license, fingerprint clearance, and at least 2 years in facilities maintenance or construction. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, with competitive hourly pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or construction.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
• Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, and verifications.

Responsabilités

• Maintains interior and exterior of buildings, parking lots and grounds.
• Performs minor repairs: carpentry, plumbing, painting, refurbishing and cleaning.
• Leads teams on maintenance tasks and may supervise others.
• Inspects facilities to prevent issues and follows safety regulations.
