Job summary

VOALA is seeking a Maintenance Assistant II to perform on-site building and grounds maintenance at our Los Angeles area complexes. The role requires the ability to work independently, lead teams on maintenance tasks and participate in minor repairs such as carpentry, plumbing, and painting.

Qualifications include at least 2 years in facilities maintenance or construction, a High School Diploma or GED, and a California driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Fingerprint clearance and background check required.
• Ability to work under emotional stress and handle challenging clients.
• Current California driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the interior and exterior of assigned buildings, parking lots and grounds in good condition.
• Performs minor repairs such as carpentry, plumbing, painting and refurbishing.
• Leads maintenance tasks for teams as directed by the supervisor.
• Inspects facilities to prevent issues and ensures tools and supplies are stocked and secure.
