Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle the day‑to‑day upkeep of our community and deliver world‑class service to residents. You'll diagnose issues, perform repairs, and coordinate with internal teams and contractors to ensure timely completion while upholding safety policies and resident satisfaction.

A high school diploma and 4–6 years of maintenance experience are required, with relevant certifications and a valid driver’s license expected within 9–12 months

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4–6 years of maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
• EPA 608, Boiler Certification or equivalent within 9 months.
• Valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and orderliness of property HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems.
• Ensure completion of resident service requests and other community maintenance tasks.
• Direct mechanics, technicians, and outside contractors on assigned projects.
• Maintain safety and environmental policies and procedures.
