Job summary

Trinity Property Consultants in Wheeling, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to operate across multiple trades, complete service requests, and perform preventative maintenance and make-readies with independence.

You will diagnose HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues, conduct inspections, manage inventory, and respond to on-call and emergencies. The schedule is Mon-Fri 9:30-6:30 with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years maintenance experience (multifamily preferred).
• Intermediate-level skills across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
• Working knowledge of appliances.
• Comfortable diagnosing routine HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues.
• Ability to complete full make-ready turns independently.
• Safe use of meters and diagnostic tools.
• Proficient with work-order systems and basic computer and mobile technology.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete service requests and make-ready turns.
• Diagnose and repair intermediate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and building inspections.
• Participate in move-in/move-out inspections.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Respond to on-call and emergency service requests.
