Job summary

Acento Real Estate Partners LLC in the Washington, DC area is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support our apartment communities. This hands-on role blends technical work with resident interactions, requiring dependable teamwork and strong troubleshooting skills.

You will perform mid-level tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, complete work orders promptly, support preventive maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance with codes, safety practices, and

Qualifications

2+ years of maintenance experience in property management or related field.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service abilities.
Valid driver’s license.
HVAC and/or EPA Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform intermediate maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
Complete work orders promptly and professionally, ensuring resident satisfaction.
Support preventive maintenance schedules and record all work performed.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized services.
Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety protocols, and company policies.
Partner with team members and the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain operational excellence.
