Job summary

Beacon Communities LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Georgetowne Homes in Hyde Park, MA. You will perform skilled maintenance across electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and carpentry with on-call responsibilities to support timely turnover and make-ready units.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of related experience; CAMT or Greenlight training is preferred. Compensation ranges from $28.93 to $34.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED is required.
3-5 years of related experience in maintenance fields.
General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and carpentry.

Responsibilities

Perform clean out and demo work for turnover to make ready status.
General carpentry duties: wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, ceramic tile repair.
Paint drywall patches, replace cover plates, and clean common areas.
Monitor and organize inventory.
Picks up and delivers supplies.
Removes snow and maintains grounds as required.
Respond to after-hours on-call maintenance emergencies.
Assist at other properties in the region as needed.
