Job summary

Beacon Communities LLC is seeking a Maintenance Team Supervisor for Georgetowne Homes in Hyde Park, MA. You will supervise maintenance staff, manage service orders, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safety and quality across the property.

The role includes budget management, preventive maintenance oversight, and after-hours on-call duties. A valid driver’s license and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities.
• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance staff and coordinates with contractors, vendors, inspectors, city officials, and temporary staff.
• Schedules daily operations (service orders, repaints/re-carpets, turnovers).
• Performs minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, painting, and heating/air issues.
• Prepares purchase orders, requisitions, and contracts for maintenance equipment, supplies and services.
• Oversees capital projects and maintenance budget; authorizes expenditures.
