Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 2 (MT2) for a Supply Chain Facility in Hampton, GA. You will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated material handling equipment and ensure high equipment availability to support fast guest service.

You will work with maintenance technicians and engineers to troubleshoot equipment, develop Root Cause Analyses, and train junior staff, while following safety procedures and using PPE to maintain a safe,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams, electrical measurement basics.
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance and work orders.
• Experience with PLCs, robotics or automated material handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aspects of MHE (conveyor systems, robotics, ASRS).
• Troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, encoders, and related control systems.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis with engineers and technicians; assist training.
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE usage; contribute to safe work environment.
