Maintenance Technician II

This position is responsible for performing various skilled and semi-skilled duties in the repair and maintenance of buildings, equipment, machinery, and grounds.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Maintain all buildings, property, equipment, and landscaping for the site.
2. Perform minor repairs and general maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems.
3. Perform routine carpentry work in the repair and maintenance of buildings, offices, etc.
4. Replace worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts in machines and equipment.
5. Operate snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks.
6. Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and meets standards for the recon department.
7. Keep all buildings clean and well-maintained.
8. Empty and clean wastebaskets and trash containers.
9. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and follow safety rules.
10. Follow all safety and health procedures, actively participate in safety activities, and demonstrate safety commitment.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, such as moving furniture or unloading supplies.
12. Work overtime as needed based on business requirements.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. 1 to 3 years of maintenance experience required.
3. Skills in light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs.
4. Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
5. Good communication and organizational skills.
6. Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, climb, and lift 1-50 pounds.
7. Vision abilities including close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
8. Perform custodial duties as needed.
