Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Minnesota to maintain and repair revenue-generating assets, including membrane coating equipment, web handling lines, extruders, and packaging lines. You will be the first line of defense for equipment issues and may cross-train to operate department machinery.

The role requires a 1st shift with rotating 12-hour schedules (6am–6pm) and a focus on safety, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong computer skills with Google Suite and Maximo CMMS.
• Excellent customer service and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Proactively address safety concerns.
• Set up, operate, and clean production equipment.
• Troubleshoot to identify root causes and minimize scrap.
• Follow life-critical safety procedures (Lockout/Tag-Out, etc.).
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance per plans and specs.
• Document work and communicate results to peers and management.
• Use CMMS (Maximo) to log work orders and close completed tasks.
• Cross-train to operate other equipment in the department.
