Job summary

The Beacon in Rocky Hill, CT is seeking an Maintenance Technician II to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a multifamily property. This hands-on role supports daily work orders, resident needs, and property upkeep to maintain safety and appearance.

Responsibilities include routine carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks; responding to work orders promptly; maintaining common areas and amenities; and coordinating with the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• HVAC, EPA II, or 608 Certification is a must.
• 1+ years of HVAC maintenance and repair experience.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily or residential environments, including electrical, carpentry, and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance and repairs (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC).
• Respond to work orders promptly and identify issues to prevent escalation.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and resident amenities.
• Interact professionally with residents in homes and the community.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with general property upkeep and team support.
