Job summary

Propak is seeking a Maintenance II Technician to perform facility and equipment maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks at the site level. You will support uptime and safety under supervision, with opportunities to grow into advanced maintenance roles.

The role involves mechanical and electrical repairs, adherence to preventive schedules, and collaboration with senior staff. The position is shift-based with defined hours and a path for progression within the company.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
• Basic electrical knowledge; certifications a plus.
• Welding experience (arc and/or MIG) preferred; certification a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Vocational/trade school training or equivalent on-the-job experience preferred.
• Basic 24V DC wiring and ability to read simple schematics.
• 120V AC and 240V AC wiring, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Basic hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge.
• Familiarity with production tools: Sawzall, air nail guns, screw guns, electric motors.
• Basic computer proficiency: ability to process PMs, manage logs, and communicate via email.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills with a willingness to develop advanced competencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment to support uptime.
• Assist Maintenance III and Plant Manager with complex tasks as needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using standard schematics.
• Maintain logs and communicate PMs via email.
• Contribute to safety practices and keep equipment reliable.
