Job summary

PRG is seeking a Maintenance Technician II at Clarion Crossing in Raleigh, NC to lead repairs, preventive maintenance, and building operations for the apartment community.

This mid-level role values strong technical skills and a commitment to safe, high-quality living environments, with on-call rotations and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general or apartment maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• CPO and EPA Universal preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable working independently and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry.
• Lead unit turns, preventive maintenance, and common area upkeep.
• Support pool maintenance and safety protocols (CPO preferred).
• Maintain tools, supplies, and grounds to PRG standards.
• Handle emergency on-call rotations as scheduled.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot building systems.
• Track inventory and elevate major repair needs.
