Job summary

Nutramax Laboratories is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to independently maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex manufacturing and packaging equipment in a GMP environment. You will support PLC-controlled systems, motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and facility infrastructure, serving as a technical resource to production and junior staff.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a GMP or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Technical or Vocational training required.
Strong troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

Independently plan, organize, and execute mechanical and electrical work to support safe and efficient manufacturing.
Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and advanced line adjustments while following cGMP and SOPs.
Maintain, repair, and optimize manufacturing, filling, and packaging equipment; respond to breakdowns.
Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance and use RCA to prevent recurrence.
Mentor Maintenance Technician I and provide training on equipment, SOPs, GMPs, and safety.
