Job summary

Chobani is hiring Maintenance Technicians to perform timely repair and preventative maintenance on plant equipment including filling machines, detectors, case erectors, packers, sealers, pasteurizers, motors and pumps at our Allentown facility.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in a dairy/food-manufacturing environment, safe work practices, and the ability to read drawings and use CMMS/EAM systems.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in food production/manufacturing maintaining processing equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns in production.
• Read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics.
• Follow safety, GMP, and environmental standards including OSHA, FDA, EPA and SQF.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues quickly with limited information.
• Interact with plant personnel at all levels, communicating clearly.
• Occasionally work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Provide guidance to operations and improve efficiencies.
• Follow standard work orders and ensure tasks are completed accurately.
