Job summary

Flagstone Foods in El Paso, TX, is seeking a Full-Time Craft Worker to perform routine and non-routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of packaging machinery and electrical systems. You will ensure efficient production and compliance with quality, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2-year degree in electronic and/or maintenance mechanics or 3+ years in maintenance mechanics roles or 5 years of plant maintenance mechanic experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Knowledge of LOTO, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with plant equipment (drive and pneumatic systems).
• Troubleshoot/repair electrical problems (wiring, circuits, fuses, switches, transformers, motors).
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Design/fabricate replacement parts or equipment as needed.
• Perform building maintenance and repairs (air conditioning, lights, forklifts).
• Report food safety and quality problems to the appropriate personnel.
• Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
