Related Affordable is seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Technician II to keep our buildings safe, functional, and inviting for residents. You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work, and help prepare units for occupancy while upholding high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in general maintenance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
• Affordable housing experience is a plus.
• Must participate in emergency on-call rotation and pass a background check.
• Demonstrates accountability, reliability, and proactive problem‑solving.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests promptly and interact with residents to meet their needs.
• Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within set timeframes.
• Inspect mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues with management.
• Perform advanced maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Maintain common areas and grounds; train/mentor junior staff as needed.
• Rotate on-call for emergency maintenance and report shortages of supplies.
