Job summary

Buckhead & Newport Meat and Seafood is seeking a Production Technician II to support the operations team. You will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, and participate in 5S and Lean activities to improve safety and uptime.

The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills, experience with CMMS, and the ability to work with OEMs during rebuilds and line moves.

Qualifications

• Three (3) plus years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Food processing experience and knowledge of USDA/FDA/SQF is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports safety policies including OSHA, NFPA, USDA, and FDA.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and process utility equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic deficiencies; assist with facility repairs as needed.
• Log and track work orders in CMMS, monitor MTTR/MTBF and part usage.
• Work with OEM technicians during rebuilds, line moves, installations and calibrations.
