Job summary

RESILIENCE is seeking a skilled facilities maintenance technician to support the upkeep of site equipment and building systems. The role requires reading SOPs, conducting inspections, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and documenting all activities in the CMMS.

You will work in a safety-conscious environment with proper PPE and training. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (technical certification preferred), 2+ years in building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), and

  • Experience maintaining facilities systems is essential.
  • CMMS experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Read SOPs and technical docs.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities and equipment.
  • Document maintenance activities in CMMS.
  • Inspect building systems (fire, HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
  • Troubleshoot issues and report deviations.
  • Wear PPE and follow safety procedures.

Brief Job Description

This position provides services in a skilled trade to support the maintenance of site facilities equipment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Read SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and excerpts from technical documentation
  • Complete required training
  • Ensure proper documentation practices during job activities
  • Perform visual inspections
  • Conduct troubleshooting activities
  • Gather, organize, and communicate operational information to others
  • Participate in spill control, handling of hazardous materials, and first aid
  • Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities
  • Attend team meetings to discuss progress, initiatives, and/or other matters
  • Monitor equipment and/or systems for performance and problem indicators
  • Perform data entry
  • Read, understand, and comply with cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), including general safety, and lock out tag out
  • Report process deviations when they occur
  • Wear gowning, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required
  • Perform preventative (scheduled) and corrective/emergency (unscheduled) maintenance of equipment, systems, and/or facilities without supervision
  • Ensure proper documentation practices during maintenance processes
  • Perform, in order of priority, work required in response to Facilities equipment requests
  • Monitor building management alarm system and respond appropriately
  • Perform daily Facility equipment checks
  • Pull necessary parts to complete a work order or ticket
Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
  • Minimum Requirements: Experience maintaining Facilities systems including building fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC, Boilers, Chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, humidifiers and air dryers
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal skills
  • Preferred Background: High school diploma and certification in a skilled trade (electrical, boiler operations, etc.)
  • Associate’s degree in a technical discipline desirable
  • 2 Years experience with building fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC equipment (boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, humidifiers, and air dryers), low voltage electrical systems, emergency diesel generators
  • Relevant skilled trades training or certificates
  • Prior experience with CMMS
  • Sponsorship or support for work authorization, including visas, is not available for this position.
Work Schedule

12 hour day shift - 2/2/3 0600a - 1830p. The work schedule listed reflects the employee’s expected schedule at the time of hire. Target Base Pay

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $21.50 - $32.00 per hour. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
