Job summary

Producers Dairy Foods Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the Fresno plant to provide maintenance support ensuring equipment operates reliably.

The role emphasizes CI-driven improvement, adherence to safety and GMP practices, and effective maintenance of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Qualified candidates will have 5–10 years in maintenance, strong electrical/pneumatic troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in maintenance, electrical or mechanical roles.
• Working knowledge of electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting.
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Must be able to read, write and speak English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and maintenance instructions; interpret technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance with a CI mindset to identify value and improvements.
• Promote a safety culture and ensure a safe work environment.
• Support plant safety, food safety, and GMP compliance as top priorities.
• Understand plant infrastructure and equipment to perform maintenance effectively.
• Update and monitor the preventative maintenance program for the Fresno facility.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment; perform needed repairs.
• Order parts and work with the maintenance management software system.
• Identify potential cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities.
