Job summary

NHE, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for our The Summit at Hendersonville - Flat Rock, NC property. The role supports the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor in upkeep, make-readies, and preventive maintenance across the community.

You may help manage supplies, maintain the maintenance budget, and coordinate with vendors. A flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Prior apartment maintenance experience required.
• Must troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electronics, major appliances.
• EPA certified to purchase and recover refrigerant.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs for the apartment community.
• Coordinate make-readies and schedules with supervisors.
• Maintain inventories and assist budget monitoring.
• Respond to resident work orders and emergencies.
• Assist with preventive maintenance on equipment and units.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of common areas and grounds.
• May supervise apprentice techs or maintenance staff as needed.
