Job summary

NHE, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for The Summit at Hendersonville - Flat Rock, NC.

The role focuses on maintaining physical assets, performing general maintenance, and executing make-readies and preventive tasks for an apartment community. Responsibilities include coordinating with supervisors, scheduling Work Orders, managing supplies and budget, and ensuring safety and quality in repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pools, and appliances.

Qualifications

• Prior apartment maintenance experience is required.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electronic systems, all major appliances, pool and spa equipment and other systems on community.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and means of immediate transportation to provide service calls.
• EPA certified to purchase and recover refrigerant.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and make-readies for apartments.
• Schedule weekly make-readies and work orders.
• Coordinate and respond to resident requests and work orders.
• Assist in ordering supplies and manage maintenance budget.
• Vendor monitoring and quality control; assist with hazardous weather problems.
