Job summary

Highmark Residential’s Walden Legacy community in Knoxville seeks a Maintenance Technician II to perform a range of maintenance tasks including appliance repair, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C, and electrical duties. You will support the Maintenance Supervisor and help uphold the community’s upkeep and safety.

Ideal candidates have at least a year of apartment maintenance experience, hold a C/A/C certification, and can handle flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• At least one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• A/C Certification Type II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule & on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties.
• Assist Service Manager with various tasks as required by the needs of the community.
• Ensures service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs.
• Responds to automated service on emergency calls per company policy.
• Assists with resident functions.
• Participates in the ongoing community preservation plan and preventive maintenance program.
