Job summary

Highmark Residential, LLC, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Woodland Crossing in New Bern, NC. You will perform apartment maintenance tasks including light plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and A/C work, supporting the Maintenance Supervisor and the community team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• Basic carpentry/painting/plumbing skills preferred.
• Ability to respond to on-call needs as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties
• Assist Service Manager with community tasks
• Ensure service requests are completed promptly and correctly
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs
• Respond to emergency service requests per policy
• Assist with resident events and community preservation

Responsibilities

What your day to day might look like:

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties
• Assist Service Manager with various tasks as required by the needs of the community
• Ensures service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs
• Responds to automated service on emergency calls per company policy
• Assists with resident functions
• Participates in the ongoing community preservation plan and preventive maintenance program
