Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 4th shift at our Liberty, OH site to perform set-up, testing, repair and calibration of manufacturing equipment across production areas. You’ll work with engineers and quality teams to ensure equipment operates within validated parameters and adheres to GMP and safety standards.

Role involves preventive maintenance, documentation, and coordination of tools and materials.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Industrial Mechanics, Electronics, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial mechanics, electronics or instrumentation.
• Experience in the medical device industry preferred.
• English verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of GMPs and safety standards.
• Knowledge of FDA QSR and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up, tests, repair, inspection and maintenance of equipment in Manufacturing, Warehouse and Quality.
• Identify, document and implement corrective actions in manufacturing equipment.
• Calibrate maintenance and validate equipment following procedures.
• Assist in developing methods to control or modify manufacturing processes.
• Ensure inventory of tools, equipment and materials is accurate.
