Job summary

Caleres is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for our Chino, CA facility. You will spearhead diagnostics and maintain machinery to ensure safety and productivity in the warehouse, leading projects and training peers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

This role emphasizes safety, PLC-based diagnostics, and hands-on maintenance of conveyors, forklifts, scanners, and building systems. Join us to contribute to reliable operations and ongoing learning within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of facilities maintenance/maintenance technician experience required.
• Experience with high-speed conveyor systems required.
• Proficient with test and metering equipment.
• Obtain and maintain PIV licenses within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and follow all safety guidelines including LOTO, fall protection, and OSHA compliance.
• Perform diagnostics and preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems using PLCs.
• Lead departmental training and share knowledge with peers.
• Lead projects and coordinate efforts of others throughout the project.
