Caleres in Lebanon, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for a 1st shift (5:00am–3:30pm), Friday–Monday, to lead diagnostics and maintain warehouse equipment. You will perform mechanical/electrical repairs, use PLCs for diagnostics, and train peers while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous facilities maintenance/maintenance technician experience; experience in moderate to advanced mechanical and electrical training programs, required
• Knowledge and experience with high-speed conveyor systems and related components, required
• Proficient in the operation and utilization of various test and metering equipment, required
• Obtain and maintain powered industrial vehicle (PIV) licenses within 90 days of employment, required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, required

Responsibilities

• Mechanical and Electrical Repairs: Perform repairs ranging from routine to advanced on equipment associated with warehouse distributions systems.
• Diagnostics & Maintenance: Utilize PLC to perform equipment diagnostics and preventive maintenance on motor control systems, forklifts, scanners and building systems. Identify damaged or defective equipment and repair in a timely manner.
• Proficiency with proper equipment: Be the expert in operation and utilization of various test metering equipment.
• Embody a Learning Mindset: Provide departmental training based on areas of expertise and attend periodic training / retraining / certification, as appropriate.
• Prioritize Safety: Follow all safety guidelines with emphasis on Lock-out Tag-out, Fall protection, and OSHA compliance.
