Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician performs routine and preventative maintenance to maintain the physical integrity of manufacturing machinery. This position requires the ability to work independently and use common sense to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform all aspects of property maintenance, including preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance.
• Maintain all maintenance areas and storage rooms in an orderly fashion and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory control of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Serve as on-call maintenance during weekends and holidays for emergency service.
• Follow directions and complete tasks independently while handling multiple responsibilities.
• Report to work as scheduled and on time.
• Possess general computer skills.

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.
