Maintenance Technician – Join Our Team!

Location: Downers Grove, IL

Position Type: Full-Time

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be the go-to person for keeping our apartment community running smoothly, safe, and looking great. Your main jobs will be:

• Fix what’s broken – plumbing, lights, doors, drywall, appliances, and more
• Get apartments ready for new residents (paint, repairs, cleaning, etc.)
• Respond to maintenance requests fast – aim to finish in 48 hours
• Walk the property regularly to keep things clean and spot issues early
• Keep the shop clean and organized
• Help keep the pool safe and clean (if we have one)
• Handle snow removal, filter changes, and other seasonal work
• Work closely with your supervisor and the rest of the team
• Always follow safety rules and company policies
  
  
  

You Should Have:

• 2+ years of experience doing apartment or property maintenance
• Basic knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting
• A high school diploma or GED
• Your own basic tool kit (we’ll give you the list)
• A valid driver's license and insurance
• Good customer service skills and a strong work ethic
• Ability to lift 80 lbs, walk the property, climb stairs/ladders, and work outdoors
• Type I & II HVAC certification
