Job summary

Casa de las Campanas in Rancho Bernardo, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform basic maintenance across trades, with emphasis on mechanical and plumbing tasks. This journey-level role supports the maintenance team and participates in on-call duties.

You should have a high school diploma, at least two years in commercial maintenance, knowledge of mechanical equipment and HVAC, ability to read blueprints, and a valid California driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years' experience in commercial maintenance.
• Knowledge of Mechanical equipment and HVAC systems.
• Intermediate experience in the various trades required.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Must possess a valid California driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled preventative maintenance in mechanical and plumbing.
• Performs skilled building and equipment repairs.
• Performs basic skilled maintenance duties in drywall, painting, carpentry, electrical, locksmith, low voltage (fire, security), and appliance repair.
• Maintains all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition.
• Prioritizes all work in the order set by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Participates in all drills and in-service meetings, as assigned.
• Participates in the 24-hour on-call program to include occasional weekend and night work.
• Participates in emergency drills and acts as a member of the Emergency Response Team.

• Performs basic skilled maintenance duties in drywall, painting, carpentry, electrical, locksmith, low voltage (fire, security), and appliance repair.
• Maintains all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition.
• Prioritizes all work in the order set by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Participates in all drills and in-service meetings, as assigned.
• Participates in the 24-hour on-call program to including occasional weekend and night work.
• Participates in emergency drills and acts as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.

Rate of Pay:

Starting at $20/hr. - $32.00/hr. depending upon experience and certification
