Job summary

Paycom in San Antonio, TX, seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance on heating, ventilation, electrical, and air conditioning systems. You will conduct day-to-day upkeep and repairs, and participate in rotating on-call duties to ensure reliable building operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in construction trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry), a high school diploma or GED, and HVAC/cpr certifications, plus a valid driver license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two years of trade school preferred.
• Three to five years of construction experience in one of the major trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
• Certifications: Universal HVAC Certification, CPR and First Aid; valid state driver license.

Responsibilities

• Repairs mechanical malfunctions and performs preventive maintenance on HVAC and related equipment.
• Inspects, tests, and adjusts physical plant machinery; maintains electrical systems.
• Installs outlets, fixtures, motors and other equipment.
• Troubleshoots and repairs minor mechanical issues; lubricates and cleans equipment.
