Job summary

Schwan's Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Pasadena, Texas, to perform preventive maintenance and repair on food production machinery and conveyors. You will document work orders in SAP and collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyor systems and food production machinery to ensure reliable operation and minimize downtime.
• Perform complex mechanical repairs including shaft keying, sprocket broaching, gear head replacement, stainless steel welding, hydraulic hose fabrication, and belt maintenance using specialized tools and equipment.
• Assist with equipment setup, teardown, welding, fabrication, and installation of new or modified plant machinery to support production needs.
• Diagnose mechanical issues through observation, auditory assessment, and use of precision measuring instruments, and effectively identifying and resolving root causes.
• Utilize SAP software to document maintenance activities, track work orders, and communicate effectively with production and operations teams to optimize workflow.

Starting Pay: $29 - $32.50 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6 am - 6 pm, Wednesday 6 am - 12 pm
