Job summary

Owensboro Health Regional Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of tasks across hospital facilities. Under supervision, you will conduct rounds, complete preventative maintenance, and execute repairs in electrical, mechanical, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

You may participate in construction or renovation projects, maintain walls and finishes, ensure security, and support a secure, reliable environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance rounds and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Performs repairs and services including minor electrical, mechanical, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Works on construction/renovation projects as part of the in-house crew.
• Maintains walls, finishes, doors, casework and ceilings; prepares surfaces for new finishes.
• Ensures security of persons and property; escorts to and from the facility.
