Job summary

Ovation is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Las Vegas to join our maintenance team across multiple properties. You will perform repairs, service requests, and prepare apartments for occupancy while maintaining common areas to high standards.

Ideal candidates have HVAC knowledge, EPA/CPO certifications, and the ability to work weekends with reliable transportation. A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to participate in scheduled trainings are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with professional apartment management or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Able to attend on-call after hour emergencies at least 3 days a week.
• Attend all Ovation Property Management maintenance training.
• Working weekends; reliable transportation required.
• Drug testing and background check mandatory.
• Dependable, punctual and proactive; works well with others.
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems and equipment across multiple properties.
• Perform appliance repairs and prepare vacant apartments.
• Maintain common areas and grounds to high standards.
• Respond to service requests and on-call emergencies as scheduled.

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician II in our Maintenance Department.

Position Requirements

• One year with professional apartment management firm or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC
• Working knowledge of grounds/common areas
• Appliance repairs, service requests and apartment preparation
• Able to attend on-call after hour emergencies at least 3 days out of the week.
• Attend all Ovation Property Management maintenance training
• Working weekends will be required/ must have reliable transportation
• Drug Testing required and background check is mandatory
• Dependable, punctual, proactive and must work well with others
• Enthusiastic and with positive attitude

Required Certifications

• Universal HVAC EPA certification
• CPO (swimming pool) certified within 90 days of employment. Company will pay for testing if you are not currently certified.
• Driver's License (Preferred)
• HVAC Certification

Schedule

• 8-hour shift
• Weekends required, both Satuday and Sunday

Salary

$21.00/hour
