Job summary

Highmark Residential, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the Lakeside at Town Center community in Lakeside, FL. This role performs a wide range of maintenance tasks to keep apartment homes and common areas in excellent condition, while supporting the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• At least one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• AC Certification Type II or Universal required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work flexible schedule and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties.
• Assist Service Manager with tasks as required by community needs.
• Ensure service requests are completed correctly and timely.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs.
• Respond to emergency service calls per policy.
• Assist with resident functions.
• Participate in ongoing community preservation and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

What your day to day might look like:

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties
• Assist Service Manager with various tasks as required by the needs of the community
• Ensures service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs
• Responds to automated service on emergency calls per company policy
• Assists with resident functions
• Participates in the ongoing community preservation plan and preventive maintenance program

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifts and carries up to 45-80 pounds
• Pushes and/or pulls (appliances) using appliance dolly up to 200 pounds
• Moves objects from one floor to anotherFrequently bends/stoops, climbs stairs, kneels, balances, reaches above shoulder height, walks, and twists
• Has normal range of vision, hearing and speech
