Job summary

Highmark Residential's Villas at Lakewood in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform maintenance tasks across the community, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.

You will handle appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties; assist with service requests; and participate in the preventive maintenance program. A year of apartment maintenance and a valid driver’s license are required, with on-call flexibility expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance and preventative upkeep.
• Punctual, dependable, and a self-starter with a can-do attitude.
• One year of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties.
• Assist Service Manager with tasks as required by the community.
• Ensure service requests are completed correctly and promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs and on-call emergency responses.
• Participate in resident functions and the community preservation plan.

Responsibilities

What your day to day might look like:

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties
• Assist Service Manager with various tasks as required by the needs of the community
• Ensures service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs
• Responds to automated service on emergency calls per company policy
• Assists with resident functions
• Participates in the ongoing community preservation plan and preventive maintenance program
