Job summary

IPSY is seeking a Foundation Technician I to perform routine preventative maintenance, safely operate repair tools, and help sustain daily warehouse uptime at our Belton, MO fulfillment center. Weekend shift (Fri-Mon) 07:00-17:30, onsite, with coverage for 1st and 2nd shifts as needed.

Reports to the Maintenance Manager and supports safety protocols, system inspections, and field maintenance. Requires basic PMs, tools, and CMMS familiarity; benefits include health, 401(k), PTO, and an IPSY Extra

Qualifications

Safety mindset focusing on OSHA and NFPA safety compliance.
Industrial Conveyance and sortation maintenance experience.
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis and repairs.
Intermediate efficiency in Office and/or Google suite applications.
Experience utilizing a CMMS and preventative maintenance scheduling.

Responsibilities

Execute safety protocols including basic LOTO to guarantee zero-energy work pockets within 6 feet of the working location.
Perform system inspections to identify operational hazards linked to mechanical movements and electrical shock; complete fall hazard training courses.
Conduct field maintenance using drills, impacts, and hand tools to perform basic mechanical updates, checking metric vs. standard fastener matches.
Support part replacements: identify and track basic conveyor parts; record daily maintenance logs while maintaining chemical storage areas safely.
