Job summary

IPSY is seeking a foundational Maintenance Technician I to perform routine preventative maintenance, safely operate repair tools, and support uptime at our Belton, MO fulfillment center. Weekend shift, 0700-1730 or 7am-5:30pm, onsite.

The role reports to the Maintenance Manager with opportunities to learn and grow through hands-on maintenance tasks and safety training. Remote-friendly company culture with growth programs.

Qualifications

• Safety mindset focusing on OSHA and NFPA safety compliance.
• Industrial conveyance and sortation maintenance experience.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis and repairs.
• Intermediate proficiency in Office and/or Google Suite applications.
• Experience using a CMMS and preventative maintenance scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Execute safety protocols and LOTO to ensure zero-energy work pockets within 6 feet.
• Perform system inspections for mechanical hazards and electrical shock; complete fall hazard training.
• Conduct field maintenance with drills, impacts, and hand tools for basic mechanical updates; check fastener sizes.
• Support part replacements by identifying conveyor parts and recording daily maintenance logs; maintain safe chemical storage.

About the Role:

We are seeking a foundational Technician I to perform routine preventative maintenance (PMs), safely operate mechanical repair tools, and help sustain day-to-day warehouse or production conveyor uptime. Shift: Weekend Shift (Friday through Monday, 0700-1730 / 7am-5:30pm) * * Must be able to cover 1st and 2nd shifts as needed

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is based onsite in our Belton, MO fulfillment center.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Execute Safety Protocols: Conduct basic LOTO procedures to guarantee zero-energy work pockets within 6 feet of the working location
• Perform System Inspections: Identify operational hazards linked to mechanical movements and electrical shock; complete fall hazard training courses
• Conduct Field Maintenance: Use drills, impacts, and hand tools to perform basic mechanical updates, checking metric vs. standard fastener matches
• Support Part Replacements: Identify and track basic conveyor parts; record daily maintenance logs while maintaining chemical storage areas safely

What We Are Looking For:

• Safety mindset focusing on OSHA and NFPA safety compliance
• Industrial Conveyance and sortation maintenance experience
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis and repairs
• Intermediate efficiency in Office and/or Google suite applications
• Experience utilizing a CMMS and preventative maintenance scheduling

Bonus if You Have:

• AC/DC motor troubleshooting, repair and instillation
• PLC, WCS and WMS systems experience
• Vendor management and parts room experience

Salary Range: $25—$29 USD
