Job summary

Lewis Energy Group, LP is seeking a Maintenance Technician I in San Antonio, TX to perform basic building and premise maintenance in office, industrial, and ranch environments. You will respond to trouble calls, assess issues, and coordinate repairs using internal and external resources.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year maintenance experience, and a valid Texas Driver's License. Travel weekly and a standard M-F schedule are expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year related maintenance experience.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Basic computer and smart device skills.
• Demonstrated maintenance technician experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical, HVAC, hydraulic and other systems.
• Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Willingness to travel overnight regularly.
• Familiarity with local/state/federal rules and regulations for maintenance work activities.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, identifies, and corrects facility, equipment and system problems to maintain properties and equipment in safe condition.
• Plans and schedules corrective action and preventive maintenance to repair or modify defects and maintain operating condition of facilities, equipment, and systems.
• Documents work, work orders, purchase orders, and material list to account for materials purchased and time spent in completing work assigned.
• Requests supplies and materials needed to replace materials consumed and ensure availability for projects, maintenance, and emergencies.
• Reconfigures, installs, positions, and remounts modular offices and space to maximize office space.
• Traveling weekly to various properties.
