Job summary

Lewis Energy Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform basic building and premise maintenance across office, industrial, and ranch environments. You will respond to trouble calls, assess issues, and carry out repairs using available resources, working at journey-level of building maintenance.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of related experience, a Texas driver's license, and the ability to travel weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year related maintenance experience.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Basic computer and smart device skills.
• Demonstrated maintenance technician experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical, HVAC, hydraulic and other systems.
• Strong maintenance processes knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel overnight regularly.
• Familiarity with local/state/federal maintenance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, identifies, and corrects facility, equipment and system problems to maintain properties and equipment in safe condition, prevent degradation of property and systems, and prevent failures that would cause reduction in service.
• Plans and schedules corrective action and preventive maintenance to repair or modify defects and maintain operating condition of facilities, equipment, and systems.
• Documents work, work orders, purchase orders, and material list to account for materials purchased and time spent in completing work assigned.
• Requests supplies and materials needed to replace materials consumed and assures their availability for assigned projects, scheduled maintenance, and emergency responses.
• Reconfigures, installs, positions, and remounts modular offices and spaces to accommodate user needs and maximize office space.
• Travels weekly to various properties.

Overview

The Maintenance Technician I offers basic building and premise maintenance services in office, industrial, and ranch environments to company personnel. Provides first response assistance to trouble calls, makes preliminary assessment of problems, facilitates needed adjustments or repairs utilizing internal and external resources as required. Performs work of average to considerable difficulty in the journey-level performance of building maintenance.

Responsibilities

Your Work schedule/hours

• M-F, 8am-5pm
• Must be able to work overtime when needed
