Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics is required.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office experience required.
• Lockout/Tagout experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize hand/power tools, precision measuring tools, and testing devices.
• Ensure safe operation of machinery and hydraulic systems.
• Follow blueprints and manuals and engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems using meters and testing devices.
• Test boiler chemical and wastewater pretreatment systems and adjust chemicals.
• Perform boiler safety checks and repairs.
• Record utility meter readings and take corrective actions.
• Conduct location/system safety checks and address concerns.
• Inspect motors, belts, lubricate parts per procedures.
• Use CMMS to log maintenance activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
