Saft America, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of our facilities and equipment. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with new installations.

Candidates should have a solid technical background and strong problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities include inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting pumps and motors, and collaborating with engineers to prioritize tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of industrial experience.
• Industrial Mechanic and/or Electrical training.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
• Ability to use multimeters and general instrumentation (HMI, PLCs, remote I/O, etc.).
• Ability to read and understand schematics/drawings, mechanical prints.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, etc.
• Knowledge of CMMS (Limble)

Responsabilités

• Perform regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve any maintenance issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts.
• Troubleshoot and install pumps, motors, and electrical components.
• Learn and retain knowledge of basic work instructions for unit operations.
• Collaborate with team members to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks.
• Assist in installation of new equipment and repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
