Job summary

Saft America, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, lubricate, and repair production equipment under supervision. You will follow specifications and operate within company policies while supporting goals and objectives.

The role requires a high school diploma with basic mechanical repair training; an associates degree is a plus. You will troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems and use precision tools to ensure equipment meets spec.

Qualifications

High school diploma required with training in basic mechanical repairs.
Associates Degree is a plus.
Analytical ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment.
Capability to operate forklift after certification.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots production and facilities equipment, repairing or replacing gears and drives.
Performs routine maintenance and assists other mechanics as needed.
Uses test/measuring equipment to ensure products meet specs.
Maintains safe, orderly workplace; reads specs and instructions.
